What is a domain name?  That is good question, simply put, it is easy way to direct someone to your website.  All websites are listed by the IP address of the server in which it resides, which means when someone wants to visit your site, directing them to the IP address may not be a good idea.  Therefore having a domain name that you and the visitor can easily remember would better promote your website.

Domain names are much like property, once you "lease" a domain name, it then belongs to you as long as the renewal process is completed before the expiration date.  With your Extend website package, at least one hosted domain name is included.  We can either purchase the domain name if it is available.  If you already have a domain name then we can take steps to have it transferred to our registrar or you may udpate your domain to point to your Extend web site.
