Extend is a Web-based application designed to run in many different browsers and operating systems. The system requirements apply to the administrative pages only, that is, the pages that you use to update and maintain your Web site. Visitors to your Web site should be able to view your site with recent versions of their favorite Web browser.

These system requirements are driven primarily by the HTML Editor. In general, the administration pages should work on most operating systems with modern browsers.

Note: We recommend that you always use the latest version of your favorite Web browser. There has been a rapid increase in Web technologies in the last several years. Many of these technologies are designed to improve both the Web development and Web surfing experiences. However, you will need to use a "modern" browser to take advantage of these technologies. All major Web browsers are free and can be easily downloaded and updated.

Javascript

Extend makes use of Javascript, a popular scripting language, for many of its advanced features.  Please be sure that your browser supports Javascript and that it is enabled.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file saved to your computer for storing small bits of information for future use.  Extend makes use of cookies to store user preferences.  Please be sure that your browser supports cookies and that they are enabled.

Internet Connection

We highly recommend that you use a high-speed Internet connection such as cable, DSL, or a T1 line to connect to the Internet.
